In the wake of the passing of the great Bishop William Norris, pastor of Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, we remember the faith of a general in the army of the Lord.
Bishop Norris was a man of God who preached the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ fervently, leading those who followed his path with the blueprint to salvation: Acts 2:38. He encouraged the people of God to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord while pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The resounding boom will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those who were blessed to hear the gospel preached under the sound of his mighty voice. He'd exhort, "Get bigger, get bigger! Grow! Grow! Grow!!!" ...and that will we do to honor him in Jesus' name.
To celebrate the life and precious memories of Bishop Norris, we share Team Jesus' Roundtable Discussion with Melodie Fields-Part 2 as a testament to the righteousness and humanity of the gentle general. Though it is commonplace for apostolic ideology to be viewed as parochial considering the staunchness of the fidelity to scripture, we knew Bishop Norris to be broad-minded in the fact that he understood that we live in a new day and dawning.
Our earnest prayer to God for the Norris family and Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus comfort your hearts and strengthen your minds both now and forever in Jesus' name.
Bishop Norris is survived by his lovely wife, Sister Clara Norris, and 4 daughters Melodie, Mia, Misty and Rachel. He was preceded in death by his dear son, Timothy.
